Hello, it’s Jo Ro! I am new to Victoria and to the art world. I’ve been painting, sewing and crocheting for as long as I can remember. I have also, more recently begun writing poetry to go with my paintings.
My great-grandmother inspired me to start creating. She was one of the first people who I saw creating to make people happy. She was very active in her community and she used her art to connect with people. She bought me my first art supplies and always made sure to check on my progress. Even after her passing, she continues to inspire me to be the best artist I can be and to stay true to myself. I;m trying to put myself into more art circles because of her.
