name is Kamryn Miller, I am a 17-year-old Senior at East High School. Art is my passion and my lifeline. It is how I express myself, understand my emotions and share my ideas. I’ve been doing art since 6th grade and have been in love with it since then. I have completed hundreds of works of art using various media including oil paints, acrylic, watercolors, digital art, ceramics and more. Some of my accomplishments include earning a Gold Medal at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Competition as well as Top 25 in our district. I’ve entered 6 Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) competitions earning Superior Ratings as well as Platinum Ratings and last year my art entry for the VASE made it to the State Level earning a Top Rating. I was also the 1st Place Winner of the Triple Dip Art Contest in May of this year. I love the freedom of creating art and the fact that it is completely unique to me! I also love the feeling when people compliment my work and I thoroughly enjoy the Art Walk because of the opportunity it gives me to discuss my art with those people who show interest in my pieces.
